Women across Saudi Arabia now have broader access to safe, welcoming fitness spaces, with a growing number of gyms in Riyadh and Jeddah offering women-only training areas, flexible schedules, and affordable memberships that start at around SAR 99
Several providers have expanded their women's facilities. Women-only training areas are available at branches in Riyadh and Jeddah, including Al Marwah and Al Zahra in Jeddah, with memberships commonly starting at SAR 99 per month and some locations operating 24/7. Dedicated women's branches in Al Safa and Al Zahra in Jeddah also offer women-only facilities from around SAR 99
Pricing and access options vary. Women's day access in Riyadh costs roughly SAR 69 at some gyms, while women's memberships elsewhere typically range from SAR 150 to SAR 300 with selected branches offering separate women's areas and female-only schedules. Typical day passes across the Kingdom run between SAR 20 and SAR 150, with Riyadh passes commonly around SAR 35 to SAR 100.
Opening hours generally fall between 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., though some branches offer round-the-clock access. During Ramadan, schedules often shift toward evening hours after iftar.
Getting started is straightforward. Members may be asked to bring a valid Saudi national ID, resident ID, or passport, and registration and payment are handled directly through each gym's official website or branch. There is no special government fee or permit required for ordinary access to women's gyms.
For the community, the growth of these spaces means more choice, convenience, and privacy for women who want to stay active — whether they prefer an early-morning session, a late-night workout, or an evening routine during Ramadan.
