Abha Earns First Point in 1-1 Draw with Al Khaleej

Abha football club claimed its first point of the 2026–27 Saudi Pro League season after a 1–1 draw with Al Khaleej on 25 August 2026, played at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium in Abha.

The Round 3 fixture ended level, with both sides sharing the points. The result lifted Abha to a single point after three matches to open the campaign, marking the club's first entry on the standings this season.

Playing at home in Abha, the hosts battled to a 1–1 scoreline at full time. While the draw fell short of a first win, it offered a foundation to build on as the early rounds of the league unfold.

For local supporters, the point represents a step forward after a testing opening stretch. Home matches at the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium remain a focal point for the community, drawing fans across the region to follow the team's progress.

Attention now turns to the coming rounds, where Abha will look to convert draws into wins and climb the table. The Saudi Pro League season continues to draw strong interest from football audiences across the Kingdom.
