Al-Baha Calligraphy Show Records SAR100,700 in Sales

A calligraphy exhibition held in Al-Baha recorded sales of SAR100,700, generated from the sale of eight artworks during the event.

The total value of the works on display reached SAR618,225, reflecting the scale and range of the collection presented to visitors.

The sales figure highlights growing interest in Arabic calligraphy as a collectible art form and a marketable creative field. Exhibitions of this kind offer artists a direct channel to showcase and sell their work, while giving audiences the chance to view a wide selection of pieces in one place.

For the local community, such events support the region's cultural scene and provide a platform for calligraphers to connect with buyers and enthusiasts. The activity also underscores the continued appeal of traditional arts alongside the Kingdom's broader push to develop cultural and creative sectors.
