Al Hilal beat Al Ahli 3-0 to stay top of league

Al Hilal continued their flawless start to the 2026–27 Roshn Saudi League (Saudi Pro League) season with a commanding 3-0 win over Al Ahli at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh on Tuesday, 1 September 2026.

Sergej Milinković-Savić opened the scoring in the 9th minute, before Crysencio Summerville doubled the lead. Ollie Watkins, making his Al Hilal debut, completed the rout with a late header in the 86th minute. Al Ahli finished the match with 10 men after a red card.

The victory took Al Hilal to 12 points from four matches, a perfect record of four wins from four. The result moved them to the top of the standings, level on points with Al Nassr, who also have 12 points from four games.

For Al Ahli, the defeat extended a difficult September trend, marking their tenth consecutive season without a win in their opening league match of the month.
