Al Hilal Beat Al Ahli 3-0; Watkins Scores on Debut

Al Hilal delivered a commanding performance against Al Ahli, winning 3–0 in a Saudi Pro League fixture held at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh on 1 September 2026.

The home side struck early through Sergej Milinković-Savić, who opened the scoring in the 9th minute. Crysencio Summerville doubled the advantage in the 23rd minute, giving Al Hilal firm control of the match before the interval.

The scoreline was completed late in the game by Ollie Watkins, who found the net in the 86th minute. The goal was especially notable as it marked Watkins' debut in the Saudi Pro League following his move from Aston Villa.

The result underlines Al Hilal's strong start and the continued arrival of high-profile international talent to the Saudi Pro League. For football fans across Riyadh and the wider Kingdom, the addition of players such as Watkins adds further appeal to a league that continues to grow in stature and draw larger crowds to venues like Kingdom Arena.
