Al Hilal Draw Al Nassr 1-1 on Late Own Goal

Al Hilal and Al Nassr shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw in the Saudi Pro League on 12 May 2026 at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh, in one of the season's most anticipated meetings between the two Riyadh giants.

Al Nassr took the lead in the 37th minute through Mohamed Simakan, whose strike put his side in front at a packed stadium.

The decisive moment came deep into stoppage time. In the eighth minute of added time, Al Nassr goalkeeper Bento turned the ball into his own net, handing Al Hilal a dramatic equalizer and salvaging a point for the home side.

A tight contest to the final whistle

The result underlines how finely balanced the rivalry between the two clubs remains, with neither able to find a winner across a hard-fought encounter that stayed level until the very last seconds.

For fans across Riyadh and beyond, the match once again showed why fixtures between Al Hilal and Al Nassr draw such wide attention, delivering tension and a late twist that kept supporters on the edge of their seats until the referee's final whistle.
