Al-Ittihad Beat Al-Faisaly 3-1, Climb to Second

Al-Ittihad recorded a convincing 3–1 win over Al-Faisaly in the Saudi Pro League on 11 September 2026, a result that lifted the team into second place in the standings.

With the three points added to their tally, Al-Ittihad now have 17 points from seven matches. The side has enjoyed a strong start to the campaign, collecting five wins and two draws while remaining unbeaten across all seven fixtures.

For Al-Faisaly, the defeat left the team with just 3 points from seven matches, sitting in 16th place in the table. The gap underlines the contrasting seasons the two clubs have experienced so far.

Why it matters

The Saudi Pro League continues to draw large audiences across the Kingdom, with matches in cities such as the Riyadh, Jeddah, and the Dammam attracting families, fans, and residents from a wide range of backgrounds. Al-Ittihad's unbeaten run keeps the race for the top places competitive and gives supporters plenty to follow in the weeks ahead.

As the season progresses, attention will turn to whether Al-Ittihad can maintain their momentum near the summit, while Al-Faisaly look to climb the table and turn their early struggles around.
