Al-Ittihad Beat Al-Faisaly 3-1, Close Gap on Al-Hilal

Al-Ittihad claimed a comfortable 3-1 win over Al-Faisaly on 11 September 2026 in the seventh round of the Roshn Saudi League, played at Al-Majma'ah Sports City Stadium in Al-Majma'ah.

Steven Bergwijn opened the scoring in the 28th minute, before Youssef En-Nesyri put Al-Ittihad in control with goals in the 43rd and 59th minutes to complete his brace. Théo Bongonda sealed the result with a late strike in the 87th minute. Al-Faisaly managed a single goal in reply.

The victory lifted Al-Ittihad to 17 points from seven matches, keeping them firmly in the title race. the club sits second, one point behind leaders Al-Hilal, who top the table with 18 points.

Al-Faisaly, by contrast, remain near the bottom on 3 points, occupying 16th place after a difficult start to the campaign.
