Al-Nassr Held to 1-1 Draw by Al-Khaleej in Dammam

Al-Nassr were held to a 1-1 draw by Al-Khaleej in Dammam on 12 September 2026, dropping points after failing to convert their chances late in the game.

Al-Khaleej took the lead just before the break, with Omar Mascarell finding the net in first-half stoppage time at 45+1'. The hosts carried their advantage into the second half before Al-Nassr responded.

Abdullah Al-Hamdan drew Al-Nassr level in the 72nd minute, cancelling out the deficit and securing a share of the points for the visitors.

Much of the attention centred on Cristiano Ronaldo, who played the full ninety minutes but was unable to add his name to the scoresheet. The result leaves both sides splitting the points from an evenly contested encounter.

For fans across Riyadh, Jeddah and the Eastern Province, the draw underlines the competitive nature of the Saudi domestic season, where even the biggest names can be held in check on the road. Al-Khaleej will take confidence from matching one of the league's leading sides, while Al-Nassr will look to sharpen their finishing in upcoming fixtures.
