The Local Organizing Committee for the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 has confirmed that preparations for the continental football tournament are progressing on schedule, keeping the Kingdom on track to host the event early in 2027.

The tournament is set to run from 7 January to 5 February 2027, with matches planned across three cities: Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al Khobar. Organizers say work on venues, facilities, operations, and supporting services is advancing steadily as the event approaches.

The Asian Cup is one of the biggest football competitions on the continent, bringing together top national teams and large numbers of visiting fans. Hosting it places Saudi Arabia at the center of Asian football and adds to the Kingdom's growing calendar of major international sporting events.
