Entertainment Authority Honored for Social Impact

The General Entertainment Authority has been selected among Saudi Arabia's top 70 brands for social responsibility and sustainability in 2026, in recognition of a range of community-focused initiatives rolled out across the Kingdom.

The recognition highlighted several inclusive programs, including employment opportunities and dedicated talent spaces for people with disabilities, free event admission for senior citizens through توكلنا, and activities designed for orphans, children of fallen service members, and residents of social-care facilities.

Among the most prominent efforts is the "Laylat Al-Omar" mass-wedding initiative, which ran editions in 2025 and 2026 and benefited 1,600 couples across the country. The authority also backed nonprofit organizations active in the entertainment sector.

On the sustainability side, the authority worked with the Saudi Food Bank to collect surplus food from restaurants taking part in its events, reducing waste while directing meals to those in need.

For residents and families, these initiatives reflect how the Kingdom's growing entertainment scene is being paired with efforts to reach wider segments of society — from seniors and people with disabilities to orphans and social-care residents — making public events more accessible and community-minded.
