flyadeal Weighs Post-2030 Fleet Plan for Growth

Low-cost carrier flyadeal is moving closer to a decision on its aircraft fleet direction for the period after 2030, as the airline works to expand domestic and regional capacity across Saudi Arabia and beyond. While the post-2030 plan is not yet finalized, the carrier's latest stated ambition is to grow to 98 aircraft and surpass 100 aircraft by 2030.

In the near term, flyadeal has confirmed plans for 20–25% capacity growth in 2026, with its fleet set to reach 98 aircraft over the longer planning horizon. The airline currently operates 45 aircraft after taking delivery of its first Airbus A320neo of 2026.

The carrier is also preparing to broaden its reach into long-haul flying. Its ordered wide-body plan includes 10 Airbus A330-900neo aircraft, along with options for 10 more, with first deliveries expected in 2027.

Growing Saudi network

On the domestic front, flyadeal continues to expand its Saudi network. New scheduled service is launching from الرياض to Neom Bay Airport, adding to existing flights from الدمام to نيوم. The moves reflect rising demand for connectivity to the Kingdom's growing tourism and development destinations.

For travelers across the Kingdom, more aircraft and additional routes point to increased flight options, greater capacity, and potentially more competitive fares as the airline scales up. The continued expansion aligns with the wider growth of Saudi aviation and the Kingdom's tourism goals.
