FlyAkeed Raises SAR 94.3M to Grow Corporate Travel

Saudi corporate-travel technology platform FlyAkeed has raised 94.3 million SAR (25.15 million USD) in growth funding, in an announcement made at LEAP 2026 on 2 September 2026. The Riyadh-based company plans to use the capital to expand its services for large enterprises across the Kingdom and the wider region.

The round combines an equity investment led by Sanabil Investments — with participation from Artal Capital, the corporate venture capital fund of stc group, and Aljazira Capital — alongside a Murabaha sukuk financing structure led by Artal Capital. The Murabaha sukuk is a Shariah-compliant financing arrangement tailored to the Kingdom's growing software-as-a-service (SaaS) ecosystem.

What the funding will support

The financing will primarily back a new embedded deferred payment offering, which allows companies to book corporate travel immediately and settle invoices later through integrated, flexible payment terms. This opens deferred settlement of travel invoices to a larger segment of enterprises. Remaining proceeds will be directed toward enhancing the company's AI capabilities and expanding operations in GCC countries.

FlyAkeed's corporate platform provides digital management of flight, hotel, and car bookings, along with expense reporting, for companies in Saudi Arabia. Through its app, users can book business trips within company travel policies with automated approvals for flights, hotels, and transportation. Its AI-based product, AkeedAI, is live with pilot programs for selected enterprise clients, with a broader rollout planned within the year.

For small and medium enterprises, a related booking platform is listed at an annual subscription of 11,000 SAR, with a 50% discount on the annual electronic platform subscription until the end of 2026, bringing the effective price to 5,500 SAR

As of LEAP 2026, FlyAkeed is exhibiting and offering live demos over four days (31 August–3 September 2026) at the Riyadh Exhibition & Convention Center in Malham, targeting enterprise clients.
