stc group is showcasing a live 3D Digital Twin of the Red Sea at LEAP 2026, held at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center from 31 August to 3 September 2026. Developed in partnership with Red Sea Global, the experience turns three Red Sea destinations into an interactive digital environment powered by an intelligent operations management system.
The Digital Twin currently covers around 10 km², including Shura Island and Turtle Bay. It combines high-resolution satellite imagery, 3D modelling, and real-time data drawn from sensors and operational systems covering buildings, vehicles, and the natural environment across land and sea. For operators, this delivers real-time monitoring, sharper analytics, and improved maintenance and operational efficiency.
For visitors, the platform allows interactive exploration of the destinations, showing up-to-date conditions, available activities, and personalized recommendations generated from live data. Red Sea Global plans to integrate the visitor experience into its official website, letting users explore the destination in 3D, plan activities, and move directly to online booking.
The system was built by iot squared, an stc group subsidiary specializing in Internet of Things solutions. It sits within a wider set of tourism innovations from stc, including 3D island mapping, personalized guest experiences, and the Nucleus Intelligent Operations Center for Red Sea Global properties.
Attending LEAP 2026
Once the free entry window sponsored by stc closes, the LEAP 2026 General Pass is priced at about 188 SAR, covering the exhibition, the full conference program across the LEAP and DeepFest stages, and the Rocket Fuel pitch competition. A Priority Pass costs about 3,000 SAR and adds early access, the opening ceremony, private workspaces, premium lounges, and dedicated parking. No additional fee has been stated for using the Red Sea Digital Twin experience beyond holding a valid event pass.
