Human Capability Initiative 2025 Opens in Riyadh

The Human Capability Initiative (HCI), an annual conference held in Riyadh, has returned as part of the Human Capability Development Program under رؤية السعودية 2030. The 2025 edition took place in April at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in the Al Hada district of الرياض (12912), with sessions expected to run from 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM.

HCI serves as a platform for dialogue and collaboration on education, training, and workforce development. It is a conference and not a fee-based public training service, and no ticket prices in ريال سعودي were published for the 2025 edition.

What's next for 2026 and 2027

Organizers have confirmed the next edition, HCI 2026, for 03–04 May 2026 at the same venue in Al Hada, الرياض. Admission is free, with daily operating hours from 10:00 AM to 08:00 PM across the two-day event. Running alongside it, the EDGEx – Education Global Exhibition, hosted by the Ministry of Education, will take place at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in الرياض from 03–05 May 2026.

Registration for HCI 2026 is open through the official Human Capability Initiative website. Inquiries can be directed to registration@humancapabilityinitiative.org for registration, program@humancapabilityinitiative.org for speaking and partnership requests, and media@humancapabilityinitiative.org for media matters. Looking further ahead, HCI has set new dates of 12–13 April 2027 in الرياض, confirming its continuation as an annual event.

The Human Capability Development Program, launched in 2021, aims to empower Saudi citizens at every stage of life and raise the Kingdom's global competitiveness. For residents and families in الرياض, the conference offers a chance to follow developments in education, vocational training, and youth innovation shaping the country's future workforce.
