IDWS 2026 Water Summit Heads to Jeddah in December

Saudi Arabia is set to host the fifth edition of the Innovation Driven Water Summit (IDWS 2026) in Jeddah, running from 14 to 16 December 2026 at The Ritz-Carlton, Jeddah. The event is organized by the Saudi Water Authority and will bring together specialists from across the water sector.

The summit focuses on water sustainability, water technologies, and resource management — themes that carry particular weight in a country working to secure and modernize its water resources for the long term.

Organizers expect the gathering to draw more than 10,000 participants, with over 250 speakers taking part in the program. Running alongside the conference sessions, an exhibition will feature more than 150 global brands showcasing solutions and technologies in the water field.

Why it matters

Water security and sustainability are central concerns for both residents and businesses across the Kingdom. By hosting a large international summit that connects experts, technology providers, and decision-makers, the event highlights the growing role of innovation in managing water resources efficiently.

For the wider community in Jeddah and beyond, the summit signals continued investment in solutions aimed at long-term water sustainability. Further details on participation and the full program are expected to be shared closer to the event dates.
