Invest Saudi has been named a strategic partner for the fourth edition of the Riyadh Global Medical Biotechnology Summit (RGMBS 2026), set to take place in Riyadh from 14 to 16 September 2026. The summit is positioned as a high-impact platform for investment in the healthcare and life sciences sectors.
The event is organized under the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs and hosted by King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC) and King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS). Alongside وزارة الاستثمار (Invest Saudi), the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) is a key strategic partner. The summit operates under the patronage of the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, reinforcing its status as a national initiative to position the Kingdom as a regional and global biotech hub.
RGMBS 2026 is expected to welcome more than 15,000 visitors, over 100 local and international speakers, around 200 biotechnology and healthcare brands, and more than 80 exhibiting organizations from government and industry. Its thematic focus areas include artificial intelligence in biotechnology, multi-omics and localization, biotechnology investments, immunology, bioengineering and synthetic biology, and workforce development in the biotech sector.
Why it matters
As strategic partner, وزارة الاستثمار will promote investment opportunities across the Kingdom's healthcare and life sciences sectors, highlighting Saudi Arabia's competitive enablers and high-growth prospects for global biotech investors, companies, and researchers. For residents and professionals, the summit signals continued growth in a sector that connects science, investment, and policy — an area increasingly central to the Kingdom's economic diversification.
Official fee schedules for registration, exhibition, and sponsorship at RGMBS 2026 have not yet been published in detail.
