Jeddah Airport Moves North Terminal Flights to T4

Travellers flying through King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah should double-check their departure terminal, as flights that previously operated from the North Terminal are being relocated in phases to Terminal 4 and the Hajj and Umrah terminals.

The first phase began on September 27, 2026, when Wizz Air, AJet, and SalamAir shifted their operations to Terminal 4. The following day, September 28, Fly Jinnah moved from the Hajj and Umrah terminals to Terminal 4, while Nesma Airlines relocated from the North Terminal to Terminal 4.

Akasa Air followed on September 29, moving from the Hajj and Umrah terminals to Terminal 4. On October 1, SyrianAir and Pegasus transferred from the North Terminal to Terminal 4, and on October 3, Azerbaijan Airlines and Tunisair made the same move.

A broader transfer of the remaining North Terminal flights to Terminal 4 and the Hajj and Umrah terminals began on October 17, 2026.

What travellers should do

Because terminal assignments may differ from one flight to another, passengers are advised to check the terminal printed on their ticket and confirm it directly with the operating airline before heading to the airport. This simple step helps avoid confusion and last-minute delays during the transition.

The terminal change does not involve any passenger fee, visa fee, validity period, or charges linked to Absher, Muqeem, or other government services. It is purely an operational reorganisation of departure points within the airport.
