With summer at its peak, Jeddah's beaches and waterfronts are drawing large crowds — and residents have plenty of options ranging from free public promenades to paid beach clubs. Saudi Living has gathered what visitors need to know about access and prices across the city and Obhur.
The main public areas of the Jeddah Corniche and promenade are free to enter, and the waterfront park is open around the clock. Jeddah Waterfront Park, located on Al Kurnaysh Br Rd (23510), lists its hours as 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM. Parking at the Waterfront car park is priced at SAR 5 On the Central Corniche, Al-Hamra Beach in Al Hamra District is another free public beach.
The Obhur public waterfront also offers free entry, with chair rental at SAR 10 mats and blankets are not allowed. For those wanting a more resort-style day, Obhur beach clubs and resorts generally run from about SAR 200 to SAR 500 for day passes, depending on the venue and day of the week.
Beach clubs and day passes
Across Jeddah, beach clubs are commonly priced between SAR 150 and SAR 400 often including food or drink credit. More budget-friendly options exist too: Kokiyan Beach is listed at SAR 55 while La Playa Beach appears at SAR 65. La Maison Beach, a ladies-only venue, is listed at around SAR 255 depending on the day. Silver Sands Beach shows day access of SAR 175 on weekdays and SAR 350 on weekends, though its current price is not fully confirmed.
Most of these venues use direct booking or ticketing rather than government apps, so it is worth checking a venue's own channels for the latest prices before heading out. With free public options always available, there's a spot on Jeddah's coast for every budget.
