Jeddah Corniche Opens Saudi Toyota Time Attack 2026

Jeddah Corniche Circuit has launched the 2026 Saudi Toyota Championship Time Attack, a three-round motorsport series held entirely in Jeddah under the supervision of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF). The opening round ran on 27–29 August 2026, with practice sessions on Friday 28 August and official competitive runs on Saturday.

The opening round drew 107 registered competitors, of whom 74 drivers passed technical inspection to compete. Entries are split across 11 categories, alongside a dedicated Ladies Cup, giving a wide range of drivers a place on the grid.

Unlike traditional wheel-to-wheel racing, the Time Attack format sees drivers run individually on the circuit, each chasing the fastest possible lap. There is no mass start and no direct overtaking during timed runs. The Jeddah Corniche course for this championship measures 3.4 km and features 13 turns.

On race day, the first competitive run is scheduled for the late afternoon (4–6 p.m.), followed by a second evening run (around 7:45–8 p.m.), with activities continuing toward midnight for the podium ceremony and prize giving.

Rounds ahead

The series continues with Round 2 on 3–5 September 2026 and the final Round 3 on 15–17 October 2026, both at Jeddah Corniche Circuit. For motorsport fans in Jeddah and across the Kingdom, the championship offers a full autumn of competitive lap-time action close to the corniche.
