Jeddah kicks off the Saudi National Day 96 celebrations with a series of air shows featuring the Saudi Hawks aerobatic team alongside military and civil aviation aircraft. The displays take place at Roshan Waterfront on the Jeddah waterfront, in front of the Jeddah Hilton Hotel, from 18 to 20 September 2026, starting at 17:00 each day.
Access to watch the shows from the Roshan Waterfront and Jeddah Corniche area is free of charge. There are no ticket fees for the general public, and spectators can view the formations from the city's main waterfront promenade facing the hotel. No registration or permits through Absher, Muqeem, Qiwa, Najiz, Nafath, or Tawakkalna are required to attend, as the event is treated as a public National Day celebration.
Each display is expected to last around 60 to 75 minutes, beginning around 17:00 and ending before sunset. The aircraft will fly joint formations over Jeddah as part of the National Day 96 program, which begins in the city before continuing in Riyadh and concluding in Al Khobar.
For 2026, the Jeddah air shows run across multiple days through the National Day weekend, an expanded schedule compared with earlier editions. Detailed formation timings, flyover paths, and any minor adjustments are announced shortly before the events through official National Day and Ministry of Defense communication channels.
The shows are coordinated by the Ministry of Defense together with the national entertainment authorities as part of the official National Day 96 program. No special parking or entry fees apply for the air shows; visitors use standard city parking and public access areas along the Corniche under normal municipal rules, making it an easy and family-friendly outing for residents and visitors alike.
