King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre in Riyadh has won the Best Recruitment & Onboarding Strategy category at the HRSE KSA Awards 2026, announced during the HR Summit and Expo in the Kingdom on 20 September 2026.
The award recognizes the hospital's overhaul of its hiring and onboarding system, including a redesigned talent journey that follows candidates from recruitment and hiring through their integration into the workplace. The approach achieved a 95% satisfaction rate among high-performing employees.
The HRSE KSA category honors organizations that show innovation and effectiveness in attracting, recruiting, and onboarding top talent through comprehensive strategies that create smooth transitions and strong candidate experiences.
A growing track record
The hospital's human resources transformation has also earned international recognition, including a Gold Stevie Award for Human Resources Department of the Year and a Bronze Stevie Award for its recruitment and onboarding approach, which supported the onboarding of 1,136 employees with a 96% satisfaction rate.
Over two years, the broader recruitment strategy has attracted 4,647 local and global talents, automated 193 processes, and raised new-employee satisfaction by 30%, aided by tools such as the AI-powered onboarding chatbot "We Bridge."
For job seekers, recruitment is handled through the hospital's official careers portal, where candidates register an account, complete the application form in full, and upload a detailed CV. The process includes preliminary screening, an English Language Competency Test for shortlisted candidates, departmental review, one or more interviews, and an employment offer if selected. After an offer is accepted, document submission and work visa processing typically take about one month to 45 days.
The recognition highlights the Kingdom's push to raise standards in healthcare employment, offering residents and expats clearer, more streamlined pathways into one of the country's leading medical institutions.
