LG Electronics has opened the Middle East's first business-to-business (B2B) AI home showcase in Riyadh, presenting smart appliances and connected living solutions inside an LG brand shop configured as a fully furnished premium home. The space includes living room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom zones designed to reflect Saudi and regional residential preferences.
The showcase is aimed exclusively at businesses rather than walk-in shoppers, targeting construction firms, real estate developers, hospitality companies, interior designers, and smart home solution providers. Access and demonstrations are arranged directly through LG's corporate sales channels for invited or registered B2B clients.
At the heart of the space is an integrated AI home hub called "ThinQ ON," which controls built-in appliances and IoT devices through generative-AI voice commands and text chat, offering context-aware support for household routines and facility management. The hub connects with Homey Pro, allowing a wide range of third-party devices already used across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa to be linked into a single smart-home ecosystem.
The showcase features built-in ovens, range hoods, refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, and dishwashers, alongside premium furniture from lifestyle partners. It also presents a turnkey building management solution that combines LG appliances with air-conditioning, power management, lighting, and security systems in collaboration with Schneider Electric and Assa Abloy, aimed at large residential and hospitality projects.
Why it matters
The Riyadh space is part of LG's broader AI Home ecosystem strategy, with plans to expand similar B2B AI home showrooms to Jeddah and Dammam by the end of 2026. For developers and hospitality operators in the Kingdom, the showcase offers a single reference point for integrated smart-home and building solutions. No specific prices or fees for the appliances or turnkey packages have been disclosed, as pricing is handled on a project and partnership basis.
