Madinah Steps Challenge: Free Registration Now Open

Registration is now open for the Madinah Steps Challenge, a free walking initiative spread across 15 designated locations in Madinah, with sign-ups available through the Sports for All app until November 30, 2026.

The challenge sets a daily target of 8,000 steps for participants, encouraging residents and visitors to build a consistent walking habit as part of their daily routine. Participation is free of charge.

The initiative is organized by the Saudi Sports for All Federation in cooperation with the Madinah Region Development Authority and Madinah Municipality, bringing together national and local efforts to promote physical activity in the community.

Why it matters

Walking challenges like this one offer an accessible entry point to a more active lifestyle, requiring no special equipment or fees. By designating 15 locations across the city, the program aims to make daily movement easier and more convenient for people of different ages and fitness levels.

Those interested can register through the Sports for All app. Specific venue names, registration requirements, and any prizes have not been announced.
