Najm Almarzam Cleared for Securities Advising in KSA

Najm Almarzam Company for Investment has completed the commencement-of-business requirements needed to begin providing securities advising services in Saudi Arabia, following a license approved by the Capital Market Authority (CMA) dated 01/02/2026G. The completion announcement was published in August 2026, allowing the company to offer securities advising within the Kingdom.

The license and commencement were granted under the Capital Market Law, issued by Royal Decree M/30 dated 02/06/1424H, and its Implementing Regulations. Advising in the securities business is classified as a securities activity subject to CMA rules governing authorized persons and capital market institutions.

This is the second securities activity for the company. It had earlier completed commencement-of-business requirements for Managing Investments Activity in the securities business under a CMA resolution dated 28/07/2025G (03/02/1447H). Both activities fall under the same regulatory framework.

Why it matters for investors

Conducting securities advising or managing investments in Saudi Arabia requires CMA authorization, and unlicensed securities activities are subject to sanctions under the Capital Market Law. Investors are encouraged to limit their dealings to authorized institutions.

Individuals and firms can verify that Najm Almarzam Company for Investment is an authorized capital market institution through the CMA's official lists of licensed institutions, available on its online channels. The announcement does not specify any client pricing, advisory fees, or license validity and renewal dates; ongoing operation remains subject to continuous compliance with the Capital Market Law and its Implementing Regulations.
