The Real Estate General Authority has begun cadastral (title) registration for 46,538 land plots across the Riyadh and Qassim regions, entering them into a unified property register. The phase covers 36,261 plots in Riyadh and 10,277 plots in Qassim.
Registration for this Riyadh–Qassim phase runs from Sunday 6 September 2026 (24 Rabi’ al‑Awwal 1448 AH) until Thursday 10 December 2026 (1 Rajab 1448 AH). Property owners in the targeted areas are required to complete registration within this window.
In Qassim, the phase targets designated neighborhoods including in Dukhnah: King Abdullah, Al‑Quds, Al‑Rabwah, Al‑Nahda, parts of King Fahd, Al‑Andalus, Al‑Salam and additional specified areas, with similar delineated districts identified for Riyadh.
How to register
The primary official channel is the Real Estate Registry digital platform (RER), available as an online portal and a mobile app for managing property records, submitting registration requests, and viewing registered titles. Owners can also reach the authority's customer care through the national call center on 199002.
Registering matters because the real estate registry is recognized as the official document of ownership in covered areas, and financial institutions are required to accept registry-issued property certificates as formal proof of ownership for lending and financing. Failure to register by the deadlines may result in financial penalties under the registry's enforcement framework.
The initiative is part of a wider national rollout toward a complete unified real estate register, with operations already expanded across districts in Riyadh, Qassim, and the Eastern Region in earlier phases.
