National Day Airshow Continues in Riyadh Sept 22-23

The main National Day airshow and celebration program continues in Riyadh on September 22–23, 2026, at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center in Malham. The program begins at 4:00 p.m., with public gates opening at 2:00 p.m., and will be broadcast live on television across the country.

Visitors can expect air displays, a Royal Guard procession accompanied by a military band, helicopter formations, military pavilions, aircraft displays, and national-flag presentations. No ticket price or fee has been announced in the available official details.

Where and when

The celebrations move across several cities. In Jeddah, displays ran September 18–20, 2026, at ROSHN Waterfront opposite Jeddah Hilton, starting at 5:00 p.m.; that program has now concluded. In Al-Khobar, the shows take place September 26–27, 2026, at Al-Khobar Waterfront opposite the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Science and Technology Center, with displays beginning at 4:30 p.m.

The 2026 lineup brings together a wide range of participants, including the Royal Saudi Air Force, the Saudi Falcons aerobatic team, the Royal Guard, the Ministry of National Guard, Presidency of State Security aviation, Riyadh Air, الخطوط السعودية, flyadeal, the Royal Saudi Land Forces, the Border Guard, and the Aviation Club.

For families in Riyadh and the Eastern Province, the free displays offer an accessible way to mark National Day together. Residents planning to attend are advised to arrive early, as gates open two hours before the program starts. These dates and times apply only to the 2026 National Day program.
