National Guard, PwC Sign Staff Skills Deal

The Ministry of National Guard signed an agreement with PwC Middle East in Riyadh on 27 August 2026 to develop the capabilities and professional skills of its personnel, in a move aimed at strengthening readiness across the ministry's workforce.

the agreement focuses on expanding learning and development opportunities for ministry personnel, while providing mentoring, career guidance, knowledge transfer, and the exchange of expertise based on global best practices. It is designed to support human capital development and enhance overall readiness.

The initiative falls under the Ministry of National Guard Development Program, the main internal framework for transformation and capability building. The program oversees training and development efforts for military, administrative, technical, and health-sector staff, and works to strengthen leadership and professional competence at various levels. Among its efforts is the "Tatweer" training program, which aims to empower competencies in the military and health sectors and broaden expertise across multiple fields.

Based on current public information, the agreement appears to be an internal institutional development initiative for Ministry of National Guard personnel, rather than a fee-based public training service. No fees, application steps, external registration portal, or public enrollment process have been announced for the programs linked to this agreement.

For the community, the agreement reflects the continued emphasis on investing in people as part of broader national efforts to build skilled, well-prepared workforces across government institutions. It signals ongoing commitment to professional development and knowledge exchange within one of the Kingdom's key sectors.
