Wa'ad Campaign Hits 4.5 Million Training Opportunities

Training and qualification opportunities offered under the Wa'ad campaign have reached 4.5 million, with 2 million of them already completed. The campaign is led by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in cooperation with private-sector organizations, and aims to deliver 4.5 million opportunities by 2028.

The initiative is available to Saudi citizens working in the private sector, who can access training programs and certificates through the official قوى Skills / Wa'ad platform. The goal is to strengthen the skills of the national workforce and improve career prospects across a range of fields.

Alongside the campaign, more than 1.5 million people have benefited from Human Resources Development Fund training programs, with support exceeding SAR 3.8 billion. This backing reflects a wider push to prepare Saudi talent for the evolving demands of the labour market.

Why it matters

For Saudi employees in the private sector, the expanding pool of training opportunities offers a practical route to develop new skills and earn recognised certificates without an application fee. As the target of 4.5 million opportunities by 2028 comes closer, the campaign continues to open doors for professional growth and stronger participation in the national economy.

Eligible participants can explore available programs directly through the Wa'ad skills platform.
