Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF) reported that its net profit more than doubled during the 12-month period ending 31 December 2025, reaching about SAR 65.1 billion (roughly USD 17.3 billion),
The figure represents an increase of approximately 152% compared with the previous year, when net profit stood at about SAR 25.8 billion. Total revenue for 2025 rose around 9% to roughly SAR 449.9 billion (about USD 120 billion).
Operating profit also more than doubled, reaching about SAR 78 billion for 2025, up from roughly SAR 34.6 billion a year earlier. The fund's total assets grew about 5% to nearly SAR 4.54 trillion (around USD 1.21 trillion), compared with roughly SAR 4.32 trillion the previous year.
The fund attributed the stronger performance mainly to higher operating income, improved returns from investment activities, and growing contributions from maturing portfolio companies, rather than to any changes in fees or service charges.
As Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund, PIF plays a central role in delivering rؤية السعودية 2030, backing major projects and companies across the Kingdom. Its expanding assets and profits signal continued momentum in national development efforts that touch sectors ranging from tourism and entertainment to infrastructure and technology — areas that shape employment, services, and everyday life for residents and expats alike.
