Red Sea Yacht Show Set for Jeddah in October 2027

A new maritime event is on the way to Jeddah after the Saudi Red Sea Authority and Tahaluf signed an agreement on 25 September 2026 to support the launch of the Red Sea Yacht Show. The inaugural edition is planned for 14–17 October 2027 at Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina in Jeddah.

Under the agreement, the Saudi Red Sea Authority will act as the event's government sponsor. The deal also covers coordination with relevant government and regulatory bodies to make it easier for yachts to take part in the show.

No official visitor-ticket prices, exhibitor fees, yacht-participation fees, or entry procedures have been announced yet, and no dedicated attendance process through any government platform has been confirmed. We will update readers as details are released.

What visiting yachts should know

For yachts entering or anchoring within the Saudi Red Sea Authority's area, a navigational licence and a technical licence for leisure tourism are required. Applications are submitted electronically by the yacht owner or a maritime tourism agent, with supporting documents in both Arabic and English.

The technical licence costs 4,000 ريال سعودي and is valid for up to six calendar months, subject to the relevant navigational and technical-licence expiry dates. A tourism charter licence also costs 4,000 ريال سعودي and is valid for up to six months. Required paperwork includes valid insurance, the planned itinerary, and a contract with a maritime tourism agent or marina. In an emergency, a yacht may enter without licences but must appoint a maritime tourism agent within three days.

The show adds to Jeddah's growing profile as a destination for maritime tourism and leisure boating, offering residents and visitors a new event on the calendar while supporting wider tourism goals along the Red Sea coast.
