The first-ever Red Sea Yacht Show will take place from 14 to 17 October 2027 at Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina in Jeddah, bringing an international showcase of luxury vessels to the Red Sea coast. The event is being organized by Sela, a Public Investment Fund company, together with Tahaluf.
Organizers expect the inaugural edition to feature around 50 yachts and 150 exhibitors, and to draw more than 10,000 visitors over its four days. On display will be a fleet of new and pre-owned superyachts, support vessels, and day cruisers.
The combined value of the fleet is estimated at more than US$3 billion, equal to roughly SAR11.25 billion at the SAR3.75 to the dollar peg. Beyond the vessels themselves, organizers project economic returns of more than SAR1.8 billion from yacht sales, charters, and luxury tourism tied to the event.
Why it matters
The show adds to a growing calendar of high-profile events along the Red Sea and positions Jeddah as a hub for marine tourism and the leisure boating sector. For residents and visitors in the Kingdom, it signals expanding opportunities in luxury tourism, hospitality, and related services as part of the wider push to diversify the economy.
Details on visitor fees, ticket prices, registration steps, and official ticketing channels have not yet been publicly announced. Saudi Living will share updates as further information becomes available.
