Red Sea Global Launches Yachting Network

Red Sea Global announced on 27 September 2026 the launch of its new Yachting Network, connecting AMAALA Marina and Shura Island Marina along Saudi Arabia's northwestern Red Sea coast. Operations for private and charter yachts are scheduled to begin in winter 2026.

Under a single berthing agreement, the network provides access to a combined total of 278 berths: 119 at AMAALA Marina and 159 at Shura Island Marina. Both facilities are designed to accommodate yachts of up to 120 metres in length, positioning the two destinations as capable of hosting large vessels.

The network is expected to grow further, with additional marinas and anchorage areas set to join during 2027. This phased expansion signals a wider effort to develop marine tourism and leisure boating along the Kingdom's Red Sea coastline.

Why it matters

For residents and visitors interested in the Kingdom's growing coastal tourism scene, the initiative marks another step in opening up the northwestern Red Sea to yachting and marine travel. It supports the broader goals of diversifying leisure and tourism offerings in Saudi Arabia.

For now, no SAR prices, fees, tariff schedule, booking steps, contract-validity period, or official booking channel have been published. The announcement also does not identify any passenger ferry services, public yacht transfers, or currently operating restaurants, attractions, or activity venues connected by the network. Further details are expected as the launch date approaches.
