Riyadh Energy Week Concludes in the Saudi Capital

Concluded on 15 October 2026 in Riyadh, Riyadh Energy Week brought together senior leaders from the global energy sector at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Centre on King Khalid International Airport Road. The event positioned the Saudi capital as a central meeting point for discussions on the future of energy.

The programme featured a packed agenda, including the 25th WPC Energy Congress and Exhibition, IEF17, a series of clean-energy and innovation ministerial meetings, and technical events organized under OAPEC. The WPC Energy Congress was held under the theme “Pathways to an Energy Future for All.”

Participation was wide-ranging. More than 70 ministers took part, alongside over 300 company chairpersons and senior executives, as well as leaders from more than 25 international energy organizations. The gathering offered a platform for governments, companies, and global bodies to exchange views on energy policy, innovation, and the transition toward cleaner sources.

Why it matters

For residents and the wider community in Riyadh, events of this scale reinforce the city's growing role as a hub for major international gatherings. Such conferences support hospitality, transport, and service sectors across the capital, while aligning with the broader goals of رؤية السعودية 2030 to diversify the economy and establish the Kingdom as a leading destination for global dialogue.

The concluded event was an international industry gathering, and no public Saudi-government fee, registration charge, or official procedure was identified for attendance.
