Riyadh Hosts 10th Arab Festival of Sports for All

Riyadh is set to host the 10th Arab Festival of Sports for All over five days starting 4 September 2026, bringing together delegations from across the Arab world in a program that blends sport, culture, and recreation under the slogan “Movement Unites Us.”

Organized by the Saudi Sports for All Federation and held in Riyadh city, the festival welcomes participating delegations from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, Egypt, Palestine, Morocco, and Syria, alongside the Arab Sports for All Union. Opening events are scheduled for 3–4 September, with the program continuing until 5 September 2026.

What's on the program

Visitors and delegations can expect a wide range of activities, including table tennis, archery, air hockey, boxing challenges, interactive basketball, speed-reaction arenas, mini-football, floor curling, interactive cycling, and traditional heritage games. The five-day schedule runs as a continuous program of sporting and cultural activities.

The festival is a regional delegations event rather than a paid public attraction. Registration and coordination are handled at the federation and organization level through participating sports bodies, and no public ticket prices, entrance fees, or per-activity charges have been published in the available information. Exact daily time bands have not been specified.

Why it matters: the event forms part of Saudi Arabia's broader push to raise community physical activity and strengthen Arab cooperation in sport. It also serves as a preparatory milestone as Riyadh gears up to host the 8th TAFISA World Sport for All Games in 2028, underlining the capital's growing role as a hub for regional and international sporting events.
