Riyadh to Host 2028 World Sport for All Games

Riyadh has been confirmed as the host city for the 2028 World Sport for All Games, a global event expected to bring together participants from more than 100 countries and attract over 70,000 visitors to the Saudi capital.

The Saudi Sports for All Federation was selected to host the games following a vote by the TAFISA General Assembly. The decision positions Riyadh as the stage for one of the world's largest gatherings dedicated to community and recreational sport.

The World Sport for All Games focus on participation rather than elite competition, bringing together people of all ages and abilities to take part in a wide range of physical activities. The scale of the 2028 edition reflects the growing international interest in the event, with more than 100 nations expected to be represented.

For residents and visitors in Riyadh, the event promises a significant boost to the city's sporting and cultural calendar, drawing tens of thousands of guests and showcasing the Kingdom as a destination for major international gatherings.

Further details about dates, venues, registration, and participation will be announced in due course. Saudi Living will continue to share updates as more information becomes available.
