Riyadh Hosts Major Biotech, AI, Finance Events in 2026

Riyadh is preparing to host a series of major international conferences in September 2026 spanning medical biotechnology, artificial intelligence and finance, drawing global experts, investors and industry leaders to the Saudi capital.

The Riyadh Global Medical Biotechnology Summit (RGMBS) 2026 will take place from 14 to 16 September 2026. Described as the Kingdom's flagship international event for medical biotechnology, it aims to help position Saudi Arabia as a global biotechnology hub. Its themes cover artificial intelligence in biotechnology, multi-omics and localization, biotech investments, immunology, bio-engineering and synthetic biology, and developing the biotech workforce. The summit will gather international leaders in genomics, gene and cell therapy, biomanufacturing, immunology and AI-driven drug discovery, alongside senior R&D executives from major pharmaceutical companies.

Also in the life sciences space, Saudi Medtech 2026 is set for 29–30 September 2026 at the voco Riyadh hotel. The event is positioned as a national platform for innovation across healthcare and life sciences, sitting at the intersection of technology, medicine and biotechnology.

On the technology front, DeepFest 2026 — a dedicated artificial intelligence and deep technology event co-located with LEAP 2026 — runs from 31 August to 3 September 2026 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Centre in Malham, north Riyadh, bringing together technology leaders, investors, policymakers and innovators. The Global AI Summit (GAIN) 2026, the fourth edition of the series and identified as the Kingdom's premier international AI event, follows on 15–17 September 2026 at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center.

In finance, Money20/20 Middle East 2026 takes place 14–16 September 2026 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center in Malham, convening regulators, financial institutions, fintech companies, investors and technology leaders to discuss the future of global finance.

Together, the lineup reflects Riyadh's growing role as a regional hub for science, technology and business gatherings, offering residents and professionals across the community opportunities to engage with fast-growing sectors.
