Riyadh Lights Up Streets for National Day Celebrations

Riyadh Municipality has installed more than 5,500 decorative lighting elements across the capital as part of its preparations for Saudi National Day celebrations. The installations cover main roads, public squares, open spaces, and selected buildings throughout the city.

The lighting drive is part of a wider municipal plan focused on enhancing the urban appearance of Riyadh and creating a festive atmosphere during the national celebrations. The decorative elements were placed at key locations and gathering points to give streets and public areas a distinctive celebratory look.

For residents and visitors, the display is freely accessible in public spaces. No fees, bookings, permits, or payment procedures are required to view the illuminations, and the installations are described as celebration-related preparations tied to the national festivities.

The effort adds to the seasonal character of the capital's streets and public venues, offering families and communities across Riyadh spaces to enjoy during the National Day period. No changes to any government digital services were reported in connection with the initiative.
