Saudi Arabia: 100 Days to AFC Asian Cup 2027

Saudi Arabia has reached the 100-day countdown to the opening match of the AFC Asian Cup 2027, one of the biggest football events the Kingdom will host. The opening game is set for Thursday, January 7, 2027, when Saudi Arabia faces Palestine at King Fahd Sports City Stadium in Riyadh.

The tournament runs from January 7 to February 5, 2027, with matches spread across three cities — الرياض, جدة, and Al Khobar — and played at eight stadiums. The month-long competition is expected to draw large crowds of fans and visitors from across the region.

How to get tickets

Official ticket sales are being handled through the Ahlan platform. Prices start from SAR 30, while premium-category tickets begin at SAR 100, keeping the tournament accessible to a wide range of supporters.

Fans can also use a ticket-interest registration service covering Saudi Arabia’s three group-stage matches and the final. This service carries no registration or payment fee, and eligible applicants are selected through a ballot. Earlier, Visa cardholders were given a 48-hour priority purchase window that began on May 10, 2026, at 20:27 Saudi time.

With the host cities of الرياض, جدة, and Al Khobar preparing to welcome teams and supporters, the tournament offers residents and expats across the Kingdom an accessible, affordable opportunity to attend top-level Asian football on home soil.
