Saudi Arabia has launched a new digital platform to bring social-development services together in one place. The Unified Sectoral Platform for Social Development Services went live on 31 August 2026 during LEAP 2026 in Riyadh, under the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
The platform combines social-development services, products, data, and digital procedures in a single beneficiary-focused system. Its initial service package covers associations and persons with disabilities, with the aim of serving more than 19 million beneficiaries and integrating with over 3,000 licensed entities and centers.
Alongside the platform, the Ministry introduced the Virtual Branch for Social Development. This service gives beneficiaries electronic access through live virtual sessions and appointments, removing the need to visit Ministry branches in person.
Why it matters
For residents, associations, and people with disabilities, the change means faster and simpler access to services from one entry point. Bringing procedures, data, and support into a single system is designed to reduce paperwork and cut the time spent moving between different offices.
Access is available through the Ministry's official digital-platforms section and its unified HRSD application. At launch, no fees, service-specific validity periods, or appointment charges were announced for the new services.
