Saudi Arabia Readies Major 2026 Esports & Boxing Events

Saudi sports authorities have finalized preparations for a packed 2026 calendar of international championships, boxing cards, and esports tournaments spread across Riyadh, Jeddah, and القدية.

At the center of the gaming push is القدية's planned Gaming & Esports District, a mixed-use zone designed for major competitive events. The district will feature four esports arenas with a combined capacity of 73,000 seats, positioning the Riyadh/القدية area as a regional hub for large-scale tournaments.

Esports World Cup 2026

The Esports World Cup 2026 is scheduled to run in الرياض from July 6 to August 23, 2026, at بوليفارد سيتي in Hittin. The event will feature 25 tournaments across 24 titles, with a total prize pool of $75 million.

Tickets are already priced across several tiers. A full seven-week pass is listed at SAR 1,500, while some individual event passes start from just SAR 39. Other selected tournament tickets are priced at SAR 300, SAR 548, SAR 610, and SAR 960.

Boxing in Riyadh

A 2026 boxing event has been listed for الرياض on September 12, 2026, with tickets starting from SAR 39, adding another marquee draw to the year's sporting lineup.

For residents and visitors, the concentration of world-class events offers accessible entry points, with entry-level tickets kept low. The build-out of dedicated venues also signals steady growth in the Kingdom's live entertainment and sports scene across الرياض, جدة, and القدية.
