45.7M Visitors to Saudi Entertainment Events in H1 2026

Entertainment events and activities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia attracted 45.7 million visitors during the first half of 2026, reflecting the growing scale of the country's expanding entertainment sector.

The overall visitor satisfaction rate for these nationwide activities reached 96 percent during the same period. To monitor and improve the visitor experience, more than 900 satisfaction and experience reports were prepared, while 586 complaints were handled by the second quarter of 2026.

On the regulatory side, more than 2,500 licenses for entertainment and supporting activities were issued in the first half of the year. Oversight was also strengthened through more than 8,500 inspection visits to entertainment activities and venues, alongside over 1,127 classification certificates issued for entertainment activities and service providers.

The figures point to a maturing industry, with more than 7,200 companies operating in the Saudi entertainment sector by the first half of 2026.

Why it matters

For residents and visitors in Riyadh, Jeddah and other cities, the numbers signal a wider choice of events, tighter safety and quality oversight, and more opportunities across the entertainment value chain. The high satisfaction rate suggests these efforts are translating into experiences that meet the expectations of the growing audience.
