Saudi Esports Launches Level Up Training Program

The Saudi Esports Federation has launched the Level Up Program, a two-week practical training initiative run through the Saudi Esports Academy in cooperation with Vanguard. The program places academy graduates inside the live operational environment of the PRIME League, giving them hands-on experience during an active competitive season.

The program is designed to prepare Saudi talent for careers in esports operations. It offers two main tracks. The operations management track covers tournament operations, match administration, operational workflows, rules and regulations, cross-functional coordination, reporting, and professional communication. The refereeing track focuses on match officiating and enforcing competition rules in a live league setting.

Level Up is aimed at graduates of the Saudi Esports Academy and selected Saudi esports talent. Rather than a general course open to the public, participation is framed as an internship-style experience. Each 2026 cohort runs for two weeks inside the ongoing PRIME League season, with supervised, on-the-job tasks led by esports operations specialists from Vanguard and the Federation.

By the end of each cohort, participants receive an individual professional evaluation, developmental feedback, and a joint certificate of completion issued by the Saudi Esports Academy and Vanguard. Candidates are selected from academy graduates based on their training records and talent pathway programs.

The initiative matters to the community because it opens practical routes into the fast-growing esports sector beyond competitive play. As Saudi Arabia continues investing in gaming and esports, programs like Level Up help build a pipeline of trained local professionals in tournament operations and officiating, expanding career options for young Saudi talent in the industry.
