Investors across the Kingdom have been closely tracking Riyadh-listed companies in 2026, as the Saudi Exchange continues to publish daily prices in SAR and the number of active individual investors climbs to fresh highs.
By the end of the first quarter of 2026, the number of registered and active individual investors on the Saudi Exchange reached about 7.28 million, an increase of roughly 520,000 compared with the same period in 2025. In mid-August 2026, foreign investors held around 4.72% of total listed market value, while the overall market capitalization of the Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose by roughly SAR 747 billion over the referenced week.
Recent large-cap closing prices included about SAR 68.30 for Al Rajhi Bank, SAR 26.10 for Saudi Aramco and SAR 67.55 for Etihad Etisalat. The exchange issues detailed daily reports showing open, high, low and close prices, percentage change and traded value in SAR for each company, along with auction and trading times. A recent resumption announcement set the auction at 10:15 a.m. and continuous trading at 10:30 a.m.
Corporate actions in focus
Several industrial and cement firms have approved cash dividends of roughly 2.5% to 6% of par value for the first half of 2026, with a 5% withholding tax applied to non-resident investors. Companies have also carried out capital increases through rights issues and bonus shares, while multiple Riyadh-listed firms disclosed new credit and financing agreements ranging from about SAR 5 million to SAR 2.5 billion with local and international banks.
Interest in market upgrades is also growing, with a parallel-market (Nomu) company recently halted ahead of moving to the main TASI market. For residents and expats building savings in the Kingdom, the trend reflects a deeper, more accessible market with clear daily pricing and disclosure.
