Saudi Pro League Confirms 2026-27 Season Calendar

The Roshn Saudi League has confirmed the calendar for its 2026-27 season, which will run from 13 August 2026 to 29 May 2027 and feature 18 clubs competing across 34 rounds and a total of 306 matches. The opening round begins on Thursday 13 August 2026, with early fixtures including Abha vs Al-Hazem at 19:15 and Al-Deraiah vs Al-Ahli at 21:00.

The preliminary schedule spreads fixtures across the season, with the heaviest programme in April (6 rounds) and May (5 rounds), and lighter months in March (2 rounds). Most rounds are set for weekends — 25 rounds fall on the weekend, 4 rounds are split between weekdays and weekends, and 5 rounds are played entirely midweek.

A notable feature is a mid-season break from 24 December 2026 to 7 February 2027, allowing space for the AFC Asian Cup hosted in Saudi Arabia. The league pauses through January and resumes with the February rounds.

Transfer windows and where to check fixtures

Clubs will operate two transfer windows during the campaign: a summer window from 22 July to 6 September 2026, and a winter window from 3 to 31 January 2027. The full fixture list is published and updated on the league's official website under the fixtures section.

For fans and residents in the Kingdom, the season promises a packed calendar of domestic, continental and international commitments. Typical venues include Kingdom Arena in Riyadh for Al Hilal home games and Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh for Al Nassr, with evening kickoffs generally between 19:00 and 21:00. Ticket sales, exact match timings and venue details for individual fixtures are made available through club channels and league schedule platforms. Commercial terms for the newly announced regional and global sponsorship deals have not been publicly detailed.
