The Saudi Sports for All Federation has showcased the Kingdom's grassroots sports model, a wide-ranging framework designed to make physical activity part of daily life across communities in Saudi Arabia.
The model brings together programs spanning schools, universities, workplaces, and neighborhoods, alongside work in policy, media, digital technology, and research. Together, these tracks aim to build lasting habits of movement and participation at every level of society.
At the center of the offering is the SFA App, which connects users with community sports groups, physical challenges, activities, tournaments, and rewards. Most federation programs and activities can be accessed through the app and the federation's official program listings.
Community programs
The federation's "Move with Us" initiative organizes running and cycling events in cities across the Kingdom, encouraging residents to take part in free, group-based activity. Its Neighborhood Clubs offer more than 10 activities, including tennis, basketball, football, and yoga, with seasonal events such as summer camps and Ramadan tournaments.
For residents and expats alike, the model lowers the barriers to staying active by placing programs close to home and making participation simple through a single digital platform. It also supports the broader national goal of raising physical activity levels across the population. Residents interested in joining can explore the available groups, events, and clubs through the SFA App and the federation's official program listings.
