Saudi Women's Football League Expands for 2025-26

Women's football in Saudi Arabia continues to grow, with the 2025–26 season introducing a wider range of competitions and age-group tournaments. The expanded program runs from 11 September 2025 to 23 May 2026 and brings together clubs from across the Kingdom.

The season includes the Women's Premier League, the inaugural Saudi Women's Super Cup, the Women's Federation Cup, First and Second Division leagues, and newly added under-17 competitions. The structure signals a steady build-up of organized football for women at multiple levels.

Eight clubs are set to compete in the Premier League: Al-Nassr, Al-Ahli, Al-Ittihad, Al-Qadsiah, Al-Hilal, Al-Ula, Eastern Flames, and NEOM. These teams are based in Riyadh, Jeddah, Khobar, Medina, Dammam, and Tabuk, giving fans across several cities a local team to follow.

Al-Nassr sets the pace

Al-Nassr remains the league's leading side, having won the title in every previous edition. The club also tops the 2025–26 table in the available standings, maintaining its position as the team to beat.

For residents and families in Riyadh, Jeddah and beyond, the broader calendar and the introduction of under-17 competitions mean more chances to watch and support women's football throughout the season, reflecting the continued development of the women's game in the Kingdom.
