The Saudi Credit Bureau (SIMAH) has launched its second Tier IV–certified data center in Riyadh, unveiling the facility during its participation at the LEAP technology conference in 2026 as part of its digital infrastructure expansion strategy.
The new center holds a Tier IV certification from the Uptime Institute, the highest global classification for data centers in terms of availability, reliability, and business continuity. With this launch, SIMAH now operates two Tier IV data centers in the capital, strengthening redundancy and disaster-recovery capability across Saudi credit information services.
the facility is designed to deliver a robust, resilient, and scalable technology environment able to handle the accelerating growth in credit data. It is also built to support advanced analytics, artificial intelligence applications, automation, and other digital tools, while maintaining high service continuity and security.
Why it matters
Credit information underpins many everyday financial decisions for residents and businesses in the Kingdom, from loan and financing approvals to risk assessment. A second highest-tier data center improves the resilience of these services, reducing the risk of disruption and supporting faster, more secure data processing.
SIMAH's customer and membership interactions continue to run through its own corporate channels, including its website and membership contacts. As of 2026, there is no evidence of a separate fee-based public service or a distinct subscription tier created specifically for this second data center, and no new procedures, prices, or user steps have been announced for individuals or companies in connection with the launch.
