Taif Racing Season: Week 7 With 1.7M SAR in Prizes

Taif Racing Season 2026 enters its seventh week this Friday and Saturday at King Khalid Racecourse (King Khalid Equestrian Square) in Taif, staging 22 races across the 13th and 14th evening meetings, with total prize money exceeding 1.7 million SAR.

The Friday card features 11 races, headlined by a 1,400 m prep race for the King Khalid Racecourse Fillies and Mares Championship worth 120,000 SAR, a 1,600 m open-class qualifier also worth 120,000 SAR, and a Jockey Club Challenge prep race for two-year-olds over 1,600 m carrying 120,000 SAR.

Saturday's card also comprises 11 races and builds toward the season's marquee moment of the week: the Taif Sprint Cup for two-year-olds over 1,200 m, with 350,000 SAR in prize money.

How to attend

Taif Racing Season 2026 runs from 24 July to 26 September 2026, with meetings every Friday and Saturday at King Khalid Racecourse — a total of 20 race nights over 10 weekends, mixing Thoroughbred and Purebred Arabian competition. General admission is typically priced at 10 SAR for adults and 5 SAR for children, with hospitality packages available at higher prices.

Tickets for week seven and other meetings are available through the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia's online platform and its linked ticketing portals. Standard spectator tickets and entry do not require government apps.
