Taif Season Opens With Arts, Crafts & Family Fun

Taif Season has opened its doors to residents and visitors as part of the national Saudi Summer 2026 program, offering a mix of traditional arts, handicrafts, local markets and family entertainment across the city's highlands, with events concentrated around the Al Hada and Al Kar areas.

The main public venue, promoted as "Taif Seasons," runs daily from 09:00 AM until 02:00 AM and welcomes all ages. Entry starts from SAR 7 though some sub-events and activities are priced separately. Visitors can browse a farmers' and handicraft market, sample local food trucks, enjoy live music and cultural shows, join traditional cooking workshops, and relax in open-air seating with mountain views. Children's activities are also part of the lineup. Tickets and event details are available through general tourism and ticketing platforms; no government service accounts are required for ordinary visitor entry.

Taif Racing Season 2026

Linked to the season is the Taif Racing Season 2026, held at the King Khalid Racecourse. Running from July to September 2026, the program features a 39-night series across 13 weekends from Thursday 4 July to Saturday 28 September. Races take place on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, with gates opening around 2:45 PM and activities continuing until about 9:00 PM, plus extended hours in hospitality areas.

Many nights offer free general admission with online registration, while premier admission tickets start from SAR 35 for closer track access. Standard baseline entry is listed at SAR 10 for adults and SAR 5 for children on regular days, with hospitality packages priced higher. The grounds host night horse races, street-food vans, restaurants, live music and free family entertainment.

For residents and families across the Kingdom seeking a cooler summer escape, Taif's highland climate and packed cultural calendar make the season a practical getaway for all ages, blending heritage, food and outdoor leisure in one destination.
